We are super excited to be sharing with you all what our staff catering provision will look like for Poacher 2026. In the background, we've worked hard to deliver a flexible and adaptable approach, to fit around every staff member’s week at Poacher, and it will look a bit different from previous Poachers.
Instead of a fixed price package, we have a range of catering options to allow you to pre-book the options you’d prefer.
Meals are served in either the Poacher Food Court or in the Epic Dining Room depending on your selections.
Tea, coffee and squash will be available to staff in both dining areas throughout mealtimes. The Food Court offers both outdoor picnic tables and a sheltered undercover area.
Instead of a fixed price package, we have a range of catering options to allow you to pre-book the options you’d prefer.
When you book, you’ll choose from the options below:
You don’t have to select the same meal or a meal at all for every sitting – you can build your schedule as you wish.
For example, you can even self cater for breakfast and lunch, and just book dinner with us, which means you have flexibility in what you choose.
Catering starts from Saturday 1st August evening, and runs until Saturday 8th August morning.
For the majority of the options you are required to bring a plate bag (plate, bowl, cutlery and drinking vessel – preferably with a lid) and tea towel with you. Sufficient washing up facilities will be provided. You do not need a plate bag if you are having pizza, jacket potatoes or Bears Street Food.
This document outlines all the different options available to staff when bookings open on 14 March 2026.
As always, staff are very welcome to cater for themselves at Poacher 2026.
If needed, we can provide electrical hook-up (only in the staff subcamp) to those catering for groups of staff, and caravans for £100. Please contact bookings@poacher.org.uk to add this to your booking.
Rachel
Rachel only found out about Poacher in 2015, as she is not from Lincolnshire but some of her family attended the first Poacher in 1977! She is Joint Head of Communications for Poacher 2026 and is now sad that the colours are no longer orange, as she loves and has a lot of orange merch!
