Staff Catering Update

We are super excited to be sharing with you all what our staff catering provision will look like for Poacher 2026. In the background, we've worked hard to deliver a flexible and adaptable approach, to fit around every staff member’s week at Poacher, and it will look a bit different from previous Poachers.

Pick and Mix Catering

Instead of a fixed price package, we have a range of catering options to allow staff to pre-book the options they would prefer.

 

Meals are in either the Poacher Food Court or in the Epic Dining Hall. Tea, coffee and squash will be available to staff in both dining areas throughout mealtimes. The Food Court offers both outdoor picnic tables and a sheltered undercover area.

 

Bookings for staff catering open on 1 March 2026 and close on 31 May 2026.

 

As staff when booking, they will have to choose the exact meal option they would like i.e street food dinner, however, they don’t have to select the same meal for every sitting – and can build a personal menu schedule as they wish. For example, you can even self cater for breakfast and lunch, and just book dinner with us, which means you have flexibility in what you choose.

 

Meals can’t be transferred to a different day or location, so choose wisely!

 

Catering starts from Saturday evening, and runs until Saturday morning. A week’s catering, taking one option at every meal (including a pudding), the cost ranges from £120 to £180.

 

For all options a plate bag is required, and sufficient washing up facilities will be provided.

Self Catering/Group Catering

 

As always, staff are very welcome to cater for themselves at Poacher 2026.

 

If needed, we can provide electrical hook-up (only in the staff subcamp) to those catering for groups of staff, and caravans for £100. Please contact bookings@poacher.org.uk to add this to your booking.
