Overview
Poacher 2026 is Lincolnshire’s International Jamboree! Taking place roughly every four years at the Lincolnshire Showground, Lincoln, UK, more than 5,000 Scouts and Guides will join us for the adventure of a lifetime.
Booking fees and timelines
Our booking fees are as follows:
- Participants aged 10-17 inclusive: £300
- Leaders: £30
Upon booking, a £30 per person deposit is payable to secure your places.
(Note: this was previously announced as £250 per group, but has now returned to a per person deposit payment, in line with previous events).
The final balances all need to be paid by 31st January 2026 and that will also be the final cut-off date for bookings.
Bookings may be closed before that date if capacity is reached, so we strongly recommend booking early and paying your deposit to secure your places. Places are allocated on a ‘deposit paid’ basis.
Cost includes all activities for participants, but does not include transport or food.
Where is Poacher?
Poacher takes place at the Lincolnshire Showground, Lincoln, LN2 2NA.
The city of Lincoln has good local, national and international transport links and is just a 15 minute bus journey from the Lincolnshire Showground via Service 103.
Lincoln Central train station has direct links to London, Scotland and the Midlands.
East Midlands and Humberside airports are within an hour by road.
Heathrow airport is 2h 45m away by road, or is accessible by rail via London.
What do I need to bring?
We’ll provide a jam-packed programme of activities and adventure, two great ceremonies, and your camping space – the food and sleeping arrangements are down to you.
You’ll be allocated a set area based on your group size in one of our supcamps, where you’ll sleep, cook and eat together as a group.
