It seems like only yesterday that we were closing our 2022 event after another hugely successful jamboree. Fast forward two years and we’re already planning for Poacher 2026!
Planning started in early 2024 with a newly formed Senior Management Team.
The Programme Team is responsible for everything that happens on the event away from the sub camps – Ceremonies, Adventurous Activities, Offsite Activities, Creative Activities, Global Activities, Trips, Transport, Discos, Cinemas, Fairgrounds, Lunchtime entertainments, Talent shows….. The list is never ending!
Poacher is proud to have earned the reputation for having the best range of activities on a UK jamboree, and we are keen to keep pushing the boundaries for the next Poacher.
We are always on the look-out for something new!
What will we be offering for Poacher 2026? Well we can guarantee a few surprises, so watch this space!

Lizzie is currently the Joint Chair of Poacher 2026 and has been involved with Poacher since 2006. A member of Girlguiding in Lincolnshire North and enjoys crocheting in her spare time.
