With now less than a year to go until Poacher 2026, the preparations are in full swing! We are happy to announce our subcamps!
We launched the theme of Poacher 2026 a couple of months ago, which is ‘a world adventure of a lifetime’, celebrating the amazing international world which Guiding and Scouting especially have to offer.
We know that subcamps are a vital part of the jamboree experience, and is your home for the week. Therefore, we know how important it is to have their own identity, including each group having their own gateways linked to the theme.
We are now excited to share with you the subcamp names, themes and badges with you all, they are:
Just to note, if you are booked on as a group, you will be allocated your subcamp in late spring 2026 and then start to receive subcamp specific emails from that point.

Rachel only found out about Poacher in 2015, as she is not from Lincolnshire but some of her family attended the first Poacher in 1977! She is Joint Head of Communications for Poacher 2026 and is now sad that the colours are no longer orange, as she loves and has a lot of orange merch!
