As a Safety Steward, you’ll be a visible safety presence across the jamboree, working as part of the wider Safety Team that keeps the event safe, smooth, and running like clockwork.
From marshalling key areas and venues to supporting and signposting participants with key information — and offering that all-important friendly welcome — you’ll help make Poacher a safe and memorable experience for everyone.
This role is perfect for calm, observant leaders who love being at the heart of the action. If you’re great with people, enjoy teamwork, and want to experience Poacher like never before, this is the role for you! 🚦👀🎪

🕓 Shift Pattern:
Early and late shift cover to support the busiest times of the jamboree.
🧭 Requirements:
Applicants must be (or become) adult members of The Scout Association and/or Girlguiding, including completion of:
- Enhanced DBS check
- Mandatory ongoing learning: Safety, Safeguarding, First Aid, and Data Protection
