Even with the best planning there are always occasions when we need a little more help to give our Jamboree participants the adventure of a lifetime, be it:
- The ice cream stall can’t keep up with demand,
- One of the crafts is far busier than expected,
- A bus escort doesn’t turn up to go to the water village,
- A group leader has been taken ill and the group needs help making lasagne
- A huge delivery of additional Tuck Shop sweets arrives or
- Everyone wants to go on our amazing fairground and we need a little help with the queue.
Do you fancy a role where no two days are the same, a role that gets you around the whole site, then why not apply to join our flexible staffing team.
We are looking for willing volunteers who can help on our flexible staffing team wherever the Jamboree needs them, being allocated tasks by our event control team to support the smooth day to day running of Poacher 2026.
